Microservices platform on VM Scale Sets
A highly available Azure-based platform for Dockerized .NET APIs, designed around VM Scale Sets, CPU-based autoscaling and NGINX.
Problem
Application services needed a repeatable way to roll out new versions without taking the platform offline.
Implementation
Used custom VM images and rolling upgrades. NGINX sat in front of the APIs, while Azure services handled the compute and supporting storage.
Operational focus
Kept the release path practical: image readiness, proxy configuration, health checks and monitoring mattered as much as the deployment itself.
